“Is It Ready Yet”

“Is it ready yet?”
“No I’m just warming up the BBQ.”
“Is it ready yet?
“No I have to set the table”
“Is it ready yet?”
“Look, just go and play for an hour and everything will be ready in an hour. I’ll call you when it’s ready.”
“Has it been an hour yet?”

      1. Yep, one impales your left thigh with his claws while the other steals your chicken from the plate. I’m told cats aren’t social animals and they’re loners who don’t like the company of other cats. But I’ve seen them hunt mice before and would beg to differ.

Besides, any place where you have a group of humans together will often end in verbal or physical altercation, and we’re supposed to be social animals 🙂

      1. My black cat Simon would always appear & sit at the table during holidays, he liked the company. We referred to him gentleman Jim when he did this. I will have to see if I have a photo somewhere of it.
