  1. When Coon Cat has a cold, he wants to be near me. He lays on the folded up moving blanket on my desk, or lays in my lap because it’s warm there. Once he’s well, he only wants to know me when it’s time to eat. ๐Ÿ™‚

When I’m sick, I don’t want anyone around me or talking to me or helping me and I definitely don’t want to sit in a lap. ๐Ÿ™‚

      1. *cough, cough* yes, much better, thank you – at least my theory over climate warming has been debunked – I am no longer at 37,8 ยฐ C in January …

  2. Hope that everyone gets better soon at your house! Thank goodness the kids don’t get sick often here. Ralphie does have kitty herpes which hasn’t flared up for a couple of years thank goodness!! I on the other hand had had 3 colds and just hang out at home with the kids and nap a lot!

  3. OK, what do I do if I get sick … First off, I would try to stop it. A drop or two of Oregano oil in tomato juice 3X’s should prevent it… Other than that … Sleep under nice warm(hot?) blankets for a day or two. Next … overdo the liquids, then read and sleep some more … After that clean up and hope it never happens again because the dishes will still be in the sink, clothes still in the hamper and the place will be a worse mess than I left it!

  4. Oh Chubs, I’m sorry you’re not feeling up to snuff. Do what I do, eat lots of chicken soup, drink several cups of tea (add ginger, candied), to add a bit of zing. Have someone set up a cool-mist humidifier where you are resting. This will help keep your throat moistened. And last, but surely not least, cover-up cozily to your favorite person, feline, dog, blanket, etc., and do as I always do: fill the trash can with used-up tissues. In other words, pamper yourself.
I hope you feel better soon, Chubs. I sending good karma your way.
