Writer’s Block

When you can’t think of anything to write, probably best to just sleep on it.

      1. The fewer the words the better. It’s like the professor who asked the class to write a short story in as few words as possible that contained 1) religion, 2) sexuality and 3) mystery. The following paper got a A+ “Good God, I’m pregnant; I wonder who did it!”

      2. Use it all you want. It was a story sent to me by someone else a few years ago. Who knows the origin of it. Your 3000 word limit reminded of it.

      3. I am reminded of a story I heard long ago about a term paper a professor assigned for a class. A student got an A+ for writing a paper on why he should not have to write a paper.

  1. Thank you for the like of my Red Lentils recipe. Your advice about sleeping when blocked is a good one. Or, perhaps eating fiber rich food might unblock too.
