A Moment of Quiet…If You Please

At the cat’s sacred sanctuary, Greystoke contemplates life’s mysteries. Staking his claim with his magnificent burnt sienna eyes, everyone has retreated.
Thoughts prevail. “I hope it’s tuna for supper tonight”

  1. Thank you so much, Tom, for allowing me to be a part of your amazing Blog Cats At The Bar and guest author. As you know I am a cat lover too and so of course my own cats also gave their special approval to this fun adventure. 🙂

  2. found a patron saint for tuna: in a book called Mount Alegro: A Memoir of an Italian American Life….actually still a patron saint for fisherman. The story says that whenever they failed to catch enough tuna the fishermen in Sicily would appeal to San Francesco di Paolo. If they still didn’t catch enough they would take the statue down to the beach and tell him if he still didn’t help they would dunk him. It says that usually worked. Hmm, does that mean when all else fails threaten the saints?
Anyway still a St. Francis….just a different one.
    Don’t you just love Google…sometimes?

I met a kind, gentle and funny man who I instantly liked. Then I found out that he had this amazing blog called Cats At The Bar and he was my new best friend! To top it all off, he has 3-4 acres of property in the country and 18 cats. My paradise.
When Tom, (CATB, creator and author) generously asked me to write a post for his blog I jumped at the chance. I thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience and of course being a cat woman myself it is cat approved by my own cats. I hope you like it. Please check out catsatthebar.org it really is a wonderful blog.

      1. It’s interesting many of the cats have the same wide set ears & heavy brow look. You should color group the cats & have us guess who is who lol
